Making a Change is Hard!

Change is hard because it challenges us to look inside ourselves at our thoughts and actions. Sometimes it means admitting you are doing the wrong thing. That doesn’t make you a bad person. I think it makes you an amazing person because you are willing to objectively look at the results of your actions and see that your behaviors need to change to achieve different results. That’s why making any kind of change in your life starts with objectively knowing

where you are and figuring out where you want to go. You don’t just get in your car and start driving do you? Well, not without asking Siri how to get where you want to go! No, you know where you want to go and where you are starting from so you can plan out a way to get there. When it comes to our behaviors, especially around nutrition, we know how challenging it can be to look at our behaviors and assess what isn’t working for us. Having that objective opinion is vital to making the necessary changes. As nutrition coaches, this is where we can help. This is an overview of how we help people make changes at Nutrition1st.

The first step is to make sure your goals are in alignment with your lifestyle and behaviors. This helps eliminate frustration and doubt when you are trying to make positive changes in your life but you don’t know if you're making the right choices. How many times have you started doing something you heard was healthy for you but after 2 weeks of doing it you stopped and figured it just didn’t work for you. What if the next week was when it was going to start working for you, what if you just needed to stick with it for a few more days to see some results?

What if you were already getting results but you weren’t measuring the right things?

This is where an objective coach can help. We can answer those questions and doubts and keep you on the right path when you wonder if you should just quit. It’s almost impossible to ask these questions of yourself and get a true answer. Let’s face it we always bias our answers to what we want to hear, however, the accountability of a coach is what all successful people use to achieve their goals. The important concept to understand is that you don’t have to be alone in your journey. If you are ready to make a change, take the first step. Set up a discovery call with us so we can talk about all the questions you have and figure out a plan. Are you ready to put in the work to see long term results? It won’t be easy but we can make it simple. We look forward to guiding you on your journey.
